Artwork Guide

Here you will find some helpful information of the popular products that we offer. We require a minimum 3mm bleed added to your artwork and a gap of 4mm between the artwork edge and any text.

If you require further assistance please call us on 01422 552 749 or fill in a form in the contact us tab.

Information for supplying artwork:

PDFs

High resolution Adobe PDF files are preferred. Please use the ‘High Quality Print’ settings in InDesign, ensuring that bleed and crop marks are added in the options dialogue box.

Photoshop Files

Photoshop files should be saved as 300dpi CMYK PDF’s at print size ensuring that allowance has been made for bleed (see below).

JPEGs

Optimum settings for JPEG files are 300dpi and CMYK at print size ensuring that allowance has been made for bleed (see below). Files should be saved with minimum compression/maximum quality.

Illustrator

Please save documents as Adobe PDFs using the ‘High Quality Print’ setting, ensuring that bleed and crop marks are added in the options dialogue box.

InDesign

While we prefer a high resolution PDF, should you need to send us editable files please Preflight and Package your document prior to sending it to us. Also, please include a high resolution PDF so we have a visual reference to check to.

Bleed

All files require  3mm of extra image per edge of the document, this is known as bleed. So we suggest that you do not place any essential logos or text too close to the edge of the document.
